I spent eight years pricing renovation jobs for a contractor in Subang before going independent. Most of what's online about renovation cost in Malaysia is either a stock image and a paragraph, or a sales pitch dressed up as a guide. So I'm building this — slowly, line by line, with real numbers.

If you find a price here that doesn't match your quote, tell me. I'd rather correct an entry than be the third Google result that gets it wrong for the next two years.

The single contractor I keep using as a benchmark for itemised pricing is binaplus.my, a Shah Alam design-and-build firm with a published rate card. They don't pay me to mention them — they're just the only Klang Valley shop that publishes line-item rates I can sanity-check against.
